Perforated Vinyl at North Clackamas Aquatic Park

Poking Holes in a Distraction: How Perforated Vinyl Helped an Aquatic Center

It’s another Working Wednesday here at Cascade Wraps. This time we’re headed to a splash-splash destination: The North Clackamas Aquatic Park.

About North Clackamas Aquatic Park

This unique, affordable destination is extremely popular in the Portland Metro area, especially with the kids. With its multiple swimming pools, wave pool, play area with twisting slides and drop slides, 29-foot rock-climbing wall, and cafe, it’s typically great weekend destination. You can always count on a steady 86º swim. (Pre-Covid, that is. And we’re hoping for a soon Post-Covid as well.)

This facility is part of the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District. It’s part of a collection of more than 40 parks, 25 natural areas, 15 miles of trails. The District also oversees the Mount Hood Sports Complex and the Milwaukie Center.

How We Used a Perforated Vinyl to Meet Their Need

Before the shutdown, we applied window graphics to their office space. Staff knew the area needed privacy but they also wanted to keep their eyes on the pool area and the finger on the pulse of how smoothly everything was running. For this job, we used Contra Vision Perforated Vinyl. Created with micro perforations, this high tech vinyl looks great, ensures one-way privacy, is easy to install, and has great adhesion.

The client provided the artwork for this job. And we loved the simulated water waves as they wrapped around the rounded office space. Now it blends in with the environment and compliments the atmosphere of fun and movement. This vinyl also works great for store fronts advertising, increased privacy in medical offices, and even in your home. The added benefit of this perforated vinyl is how it reduces glare and the heat of summer sun. Your air conditioning bill will be lower and your customers will be much more comfortable. What’s not to love?!
